Tricia qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2011 from the University of Limerick with an honours degree.
Tricia has worked in Australia and New Zealand as a Physiotherapist and has completed further training in
medical acupuncture, dry needling & biomechanics. She is certified in Level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy and has
completed Levels 1 & 2 in ANF therapy. She is also a qualified Pilates mat and reformer instructor as well
as a Yoga Instructor.
Tricia loves combining all the skills from her tool box to find the root cause of an underlying issue or problem.
She enjoys the detective part of her job and working with the client to rebuild strength and function.
Her biggest passion is Pilates. She has completed courses with Stability Plus and with STOTT Pilates. With her
Physiotherapy Training she specilises in BackCare Pilates Classes and loves how it helps clients to move again
in a pain-free and functional way. She truly believes Pilates is how we look after our spine and how it should
be incorporated into our day/week. It is one of the best ways to maintain spinal flexibility and to build core
strength. One of her favourite Joseph Pilates quotes is “change happens through movement and movement heals”. In
other words, motion is lotion!
